Refusal to play in the CG would be material breech of contract, the repercussions of which would make it an absolute non-starter. No Way it would ever be considered.

You know that. I know that. But it concerns me that each game in a long season adds to the possibility of injury to a key player. If that game were meaningful - say, 12- 0 OSU v 11-1 Illinois - I would just take it as a necessary step to get to the CFP. That ain't happening this year. I will also be pissed if Tennessee gets in without having to play in a CCG. Or Notre Dame gets into future CFPs without having to win a CCG. Or when Michigan gets in despite not making the CCG.Refusal to play in the CG would be material breech of contract, the repercussions of which would make it an absolute non-starter. I just noticed that Kentucky is still at 24. For fucks sake, losing to Vandy should be an automatic disqualifier from even being considered.
What's worse is they WEREN'T EVEN FUCKING RANKED LAST WEEK.....
Absolute horseshit.
Holy shit, I didn’t even realize that. This system is a fucking joke.

You know what, I think those are the old rankings from last week still...they haven't put out the new ones yet I don't think....
This why I refuse to watch any of the games other than the one Ohio State is playing in. I barely watch ESPN at all - it's very clear the CFP is angled towards certain monetary interests.
Doesn't make Mike's statement any less true. That was last week’s ranking.
This week’s will be out shortly.
That would make sense. I just saw the ticker on the bottom line showing UGA 1 and UK 24 and assume that was this weeks ranking. But still….UK sucked before last week, too.

It seems odd that the PAC-12 has 6 teams in the top 25. They must be strongest conference?
