I have no idea if this is true or not, but if Michigan does end up hiring Bellamy it would be hilarious that Harbaugh had to promise another HS coach a job in order to secure a top recruit (Donovan Edwards).

Their collective belief in the greatness of Warinner is hilarious. He recruits like a wet dish rag and got fired from OSU for being so awful at co-coordinating an offense. But the bar is so low for them they are forced to treat him as their coaching rock star and the solution to all their problems.

Holy. Shit.

So, theyre replacing Warriner, who is at least competent (if overrated) with a HS coach with zero college coaching or recruiting experience? They're appropriately apoplectic since they've convinced themselves Warriner is a coaching GOD, yes?

Also, it's been widely said they need to move away from the played out "_ichigan _an" culture, so their answer is to hire two former players on staff? Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. It's a Swiss fuckin' watch if I'm understanding it correctly.

Apparently their TE coach is becoming CO-Oc and OL coach the higschool coach is taking over the TE and all those wonderful receivers they have...

I'd say you pretty much have it. Young assistant coaches that connect with the players. No one else has that apparently.

Funny how they forget they can't get top recruits because of bagmen and online classes once they get all excited.

So just to recap, Harbaugh’s son, who hasn’t had a coaching job in his life that wasn’t entry level (for four seasons, I’m pretty sure four seasons of being a grad assistant is a bit on the long end) or given to him by a family member, was retained while the coach widely considered their best (despite personality, people skills, and recruiting issues) was axed to make room for the HS coach they promised a job to in order to secure the commitment of Donovan Edwards.

Are you telling me Dudek might have been totally full of shit and they didn’t actually have a plan?

I guess it’s possible they did have a plan and just fucked it up royally.

Actually, I’m going to assume it’s a little of both. Terrible plan that they completely botched the execution of.
This would be the truest scUM way, and St. Bill Martin would surely approve. God bless that magnificent son of a bitch.

A kid who, when asked how long Michigan had been leading for his commitment, responded by saying Ohio State had been his leader but already had 2 running backs.
