Keeping Wilson out is cutting off your nose to spite your face …find more creative punishments. If you lose that game you punish every player and Coach. Unless he broke the law it wasn’t worth keeping him out.

Pretty clear when you put it along side the X & O analysis we've seen. Ball carriers averaging less than 1 yard before contact isn't because Stroud won't run and it isn't because all of a sudden Henderson's vision comes into question.
O-linemen are missing blocks.

Woah, did Wypler have a rough time the last 2 weeks. He's getting driven back constantly and it's rough. On both INTs (which were both on 1st down) our middle just caved.
I noticed him getting driven back into Stroud last week and looks like the same happened vs Nebraska.
I wonder if we've given any thought to Jones at Center? I'm sure Wypler will improve that through his career but right now he's really really struggling and IMO teams are targeting him.

Oline needs to play better for sure but there are issues with the formations, schemes and predictability thats aiding in that mess. Then there's decision making issues behind the line so there's blame, or answers to these questions from the very top on down. The skill on this team didnt just start sucking all at once, there's certainly more to it.

I think there are also times where the assignments aren’t communicated and/or understood by everybody. That’s normally been the center’s responsibility, and they can’t just make a change there unless they’ve got somebody else prepared to call out potential blitzers, etc.

Agree that Wypler is struggling, but IMO it's too late in the year to shuffle players around. They're not playing as a unit in the running game and changing out Jones for Wypler would eliminate the possibility of getting much better.
I think @pnuts34 mentioned this in another thread, but you go with want you have at this point and hope they learn from film and in-game reps. Honestly, I don't even want Matt Jones subbing in every 2-3 series. The starting 5 need every rep they can get.
