DBs have been a bright spot this year?

When you give up 31 and 35 points in the 2 games, there really aren't many bright spots on the defensive side. However, on defense probably YES, compared to last season and the DL and LBs so far this season. Or at least we can say the DBs have been less disappointing than the DL and LBs have been.

I'd argue that the DL is the main let down. Yes the LBs look like the 3 stooges running around out there while running into each other but this DL was supposed to change the LOS which they most definitely aren't. The DL isn't getting any pressure and while the DTs appear to be doing okay getting into the backfield to me teams are sort of inviting that because they're trapping them.

I think we have got to see 33 and 44 more. At a minimum just to give them an opportunity to make plays since our starting 4 aren't.

I can't put this on the DL at all...they get no help from support, they're asked to constantly be outmanned typically 6 to 4. An incredible and unreasonable amount is asked of from the DL in this scheme.

To put it simply, we've become Oklahoma, a pinball offense but Charmin soft defense. It's unacceptable, and it's heartening to see that Day has had enough.

They made Zero changes after Alabama because why? Day promises a closer look at what we are doing. Good. We probably can get by if the DL steps up. I’m still haunted by Olave’s reaction to the D on Saturday…he knows, Day should know. Don’t leave Combs in the dark.

My goodness how easy it was all game for them. Personally I think they packed it in too and could've done more damage.
