2021 CFB Playoff Discussion

Who's Still Alive

ACC: OUT
PAC: Oregon
SEC: Bama, UGA......maybe Florida (Arky won't survive much longer)
B1G: Iowa, tsun, pedsters, Ohio State (ideal situation is for Oregon to have a good year but drop a game and not take a spot)
B12: Okie (but they look like shit) and Tejas (11-1 with an SEC! loss and watch the espn hype machine go into fucking overdrive)
G5: Juggalos and Mormons
Domer: The scissor lift is still standing

Bama/GA hopefully one loses before the SEC title game, and that team also drops the SEC title game.

Feels like the only way they arent both in this season. Both losing a regular season game would be ideal, but that probably wont happen.

Ole Miss is probably the best chance for a Bama loss. A&M isnt beating them and I doubt Arkansas does either

Auburn is not beating Bama or UGA

UGA does have to go @ Florida, Arkansas is a lot better this year but hard to see them winning @ UGA this week.

IMO if we can run the table (Big IF right now) we get in over both a 1 loss ND and a 1 loss OU. They only are a problem if they manage to scathe through undefeated. Texas is not finishing with 1 loss, I don't care how bad they beat a shitty Texas Tech team.

Of course the fucking nightmare scenario of 3 1 loss SEC teams is still in play

Florida beats UGA and both finish with 1 loss. That game is in October though, UGA still gets 4 scrubs to flex nuts against after (Missouri, Tennessee, Charleston Southern, Georgia Tech) Then Florida beats Undefeated Bama in the SEC title game.

Wouldn't put it past them to put all 3 in the playoff under the right circumstances. Especially if there are no undefeated P5 champs.

UGA ‘at’ Florida is the neutral WLOCP in Jax. But there’s a chance they’ll get beat there.

Bama, Georgia, Domers, Oregon just have to handle business.

Too many darkhorses to list. Those 4 are in the drivers seat.

Just sayin': I think Oklahoma is ahead of Notre Dame and currently is the 4th team in the driver's seat. An undefeated Oklahoma is ahead of Notre Dame in both polls and like Notre Dame they have a pretty soft schedule this season too.

There's just so many teams in great position to finish with 1 loss.

I think we would get in over OU if they lose one. Otherwise we have to hope that UGA wins out and then Ole Miss beats Alabama to give Alabama 2 losses. If the SEC gets 2 schools in then it's going to be really difficult to get in.

Have to hope for UGA, Oregon, ND and tOSU.

P12 North leader lost to Purdue, P12 South leader lost to BYU. P12 is on deaths door for a playoff spot. ACC has already flatlined.

Bama and UGA are in, along with the B1G champ and the winner of a B12/BYU/Cincinnati beauty contest as things look right now.
