#16 Ole Miss is 6-2, with losses to Bama and Auburn. They have no wins over currently ranked teams, having beaten 4-4 Louisville, 3-5 (FCS) Austin Peay, 1-7 Tulane, 5-3 Arkansas, 4-4 Tennessee, and 4-4 LSU.

If you count each game against an SEC team as a game against a ranked team, it explains a lot.

Clearly A&M would be 2 and Bama would be 3

Top 3 all SEC sounds about right

The real question is how they justify that they don’t have it that way already

And only 7 teams from The South when there are 6 from The Conference of Northern Aggression??! Heresy!

Fucking good thing that's not the case. Bama would backdoor into the playoff with 1 loss regardless of the hypothetical unbeaten UGA vs 1 loss A&M result. They legit would be liable to put 3 SEC teams in if A&M won said hypothetical game.

Sparty deserves its current ranking. Bama deserves to be around 7-8. Oregon, Sparty and Juggalo have better wins than bama, and two are undefeated. Ohio State, domer and tsun all have infinitely better losses than bama. Okie may look like Phillip Seymour Hoffman rolling down the hill on fire, but they're undefeated.

Hehe I was about to say, so we're going to be right in that position anyway but this way our opponents are different than just the BiG next 4 weeks. That rematch vs OU would be nice though
