2021 CFB Playoff Discussion

As of now, I see things unfolding like this:

1. Georgia (13-0) vs 4. Oklahoma (13-0)
2. Oregon (12-1) vs 3. Ohio State (12-1)

I suppose you could flip us and the ducks but it would make no difference at that point. If Oregon wins at Utah I think they'll keep a clean slate the rest of the way. Oklahoma is easily the flakiest team included here. I could absolutely see them losing any of their remaining games but their offense is finally looking like typical OU quality. If they slip up, however, I think Cincy has a real opportunity to seize the 4 seed.

Lmao Mississippi — at 5-3 - whom lost to fucking Memphis is ranked 17th. So at this point, they’ve done everything but outright come and say this is by far the most rigged dynamic of literally any sport in North America.

You’re literally just doing everything you can to tank any team Alabama plays. There’s literally no justification to have them ranked ahead of Oregon or MSU. The committee said ND is a top 10 team; Cincinatti fucking beats them and they’re left out of the top4?

Cincinatti should boycott their bowl game if they’re undefeated and get left out. I know that won’t happen because of money but this is just fucking ludicrous at this point

My goodness we would be fired up for that game.

Man if I trusted the committee, I’d actually be rooting like hell for Bama to beat Georgia. Logically they see each other again in a 1-4 showdown in potentially another physical slugfest while Ohio State either gets Oregon or OU on the other side depending on how things shake out. Would be the first time in awhile where you’d actually want either a 2 seed or a 3 seed. Of course I don’t trust the committee whatsoever so they definitely would do some shit like slot Georgia at 3 despite not winning their conference.

The yearly, "Maybe this is the year Okie State beats Oklahoma," wish. Ain't going to happen.
