Honestly let them. I’d assume it’d be a rematch in the first round either way so let them beat up on each other again. I’d love another crack at Oregon. Day gonna tap that ass if he gets another shot. Loving the committee taking a warm creamy shit on Cincy and OU too.

Aside from laughing at the juggalos (though I do believe they got a proper rogering), a few things stand out:

  • They'll flip us with Oregon if we finish in a dominant fashion
  • Sparty should--particularly if they're valuing tsun so high that they have them at 7--be 2, not Bama.
  • They desperately want tsun in the playoff and are giving them two paths to get there by winning out, even if Sparty wins out too. Win out and win the BTC if Sparty picks up two losses (I don't think they will) or have Sparty win out while they also do so, get some help and are B1G #2.

Oregon has to hope for other teams to lose at this point.

not a single top 25 team left on their schedule and the other PAC division is a hot mess. Beating a 3+ loss Utah or Arizona State there is not going to get them any leverage

Personally, Cinci feels like a longshot to make the playoff. Ohio State already knew what it needed to do. Oklahoma is pissed, undoubtedly.

If Oklahoma wins out against Baylor, Iowa State, and Okie State, and then beats 1 of them again in their rematch CCG, they’ll jump Cincy.

It would be funny if Oklahoma wins out in the regular season but loses in their CCG, making the extra game the league petitioned for ending up being the reason the league misses the CFP instead of being the extra win needed to get into the CFP. I really want that to happen once.
