2017 College Football Playoffs (and Other Bowl Games)

No real interest watching the CFP this year, but I'm almost certain 0-2 SEC teams will get into the final game. Most optimal result now is we finger blast USC, SEC goes a collective 0-7 in Bowl games and OU wins the championship.

remember when the quality of a loss didn't matter when they were talking Clemson after Syracuse; they said it was about strength of wins. I don't care that OSU didn't make it, but I won't watch a single game of it with two teams from the mediocre SEC in it.

SEC will be 1-4 in Natties after this year in the CFP era. And the committee won't have learned a thing.

WTF this guy actually said this

Well, sure...

Take Passing
Ohio State is 28th passing for 274.2 per game. Bama is 86th at 200.1 per
Or... scoring Offense where the Buckeyes are 5th at 42.5 per and Bama is 12th at 39.1
Or total offense, where Ohio State was 6th at 523.6 per while Bama came in 20th at 465.4

He was probably just talking about rushing, cuz Bama actually did run for at 10th best 265.3 and the Buckeyes just ran for 249.4 ... good for 15th

I hope both SEC teams get apefucked in the semis
^^^This!^^^

@Nutriaitch won't be the only BPer rooting for LSU in the Citrus Bowl. They're playing Notre Dame.
Hoping all B1G teams win, yes even ped and ttun and all SEC teams lose.

Re: 2 vs 4 vs 8 injuries are more likely after a longgg layoff and then playing "really good" teams back to back to back in an (8) team playoff. Having mentioned a couple times bowl games are a crap shoot to begin with.

My perfect scenario, CFP/College agreements aside, hopefully happening next year is two teams finish 2018 13-0 and are by far the (2) best teams in the country ~ the third best team having two losses. Then said two best teams say screw the CFP system/committee and decide to schedule their own championship game at a neutral site.

What would make my scenario better, of course, is if the Buckeyes are one of the two outlaw/renegade teams! :urban2::urban2::urban2:

Feel free to discuss ...

Or ya know Miami losing to Pitt and they would habe been in that situation. It's hypocritical bullshit that basically amounts to eye test with a lot of words

It certainly wasn't quality of wins
