A final word before I pass out and/or puke.

College motherfucking football produced, even when the schedule says "gonna suck".

TCU should not be undefeated.

Texas is a couple kickers away from being back.

Arkansas was just sandbagging for conference play. Losing to much better teams now.

Oregon is as tough as any team in America in Div III.

Syracuse may win the ACC.....in football.

USC wishes last week didn't happen and that their coach was clean and sober.

M*ch*g*n is not a better job than the Indianapolis Colts.

Ga Tech is gonna have to wait until next year to matter.

Auburn can't renovate enough churches to salvage this year.

Obligatory SEC schedule = all your top tens belong to us.

Love it. I have to add just one thing:

I hope I get a lot of Thursday night MAC games this year, they have a bunch of decent teams in that conference.

Things I'm noticing:
November is going to be scary for Ohio State (MSU and TSUN)

Would OSU's Front 7 be able to stop LSU's Fournette?

I like our chances down the road. Defense has been good till yesterday but LSU is far more 1 demensional where we could sell out to stop the run and force Brandon Harris to pass. I would bet he gets his yards but if our defense could buckle down when it matters and force turnover on downs or FG's I would say good guys win. But our offense has got to get an identity and stick with what works. I do expect to see that by November which will be tough getting MSU at home in a physical game then next week up north for a game that will be just as physical probably.

He just went for 250 and his team could barely beat Syracuse so maybe the better question is; would it matter?

As far as stopping him goes I can say for 100% factual certainty that OSU would put better athletes and better coaches to the task than either Auburn or Syracuse did.

Neutral site game, I think he gets 150+ and OSU wins comfortably.

Ask Wisconsin how heavily relying on one (stellar) back worked out for them. Unless Brandon Harris shows he can consistently carve up defenses with his arm, I'm not buying LSU.

The bigger concern for me is if Ohio State can move the ball against competent defenses. By this time last year the Buckeyes were moving the ball at will against weaker defenses, yet it still feels like we're struggling at times. Once OSU gets the offense righted, the Buckeyes are better than 2TDs than almost everyone this year. Hope it happens sooner rather than later though. The Indiana game scares me a little next week.

No it doesn't matter. I didn't ask if OSU could beat LSU, I was just wondering if OSU could stop Fournette. I'm confident enough in OSU that they could win any game they play. But November no longer looks like a steamrolling like it did originally.

Our defense is still playing lights out, but could we hold him to under 100 yards? (obviously your post says he gets more than 150)

Considering how 1-dimensional LSU is, absolutely. They wouldn't need to completely stop him, either. Limit his production, and get him frustrated early, and LSU loses.

IMO, LSU will not make the playoffs.

Disagree with LSU not making the playoffs. He's clearly the kind of guy who can put a team on his back and at least carry them through a weakened SECW. All bets off after they make it though. If I had to predict playoff seeds right now:

1. Ohio State-Sparty Winner
2. UCLA
3. LSU
4. Last gimp standing out of TCU, Baylor, Clemson, ND

They are lucky they don't play Georgia in the regular season. But they have some big tests coming up. Florida and A&M at home, Alabama and Ole Miss on the road. If they get through those 4, I will be thoroughly impressed. Until then, I'm still not sold.

I'm not sure Fournette holds up all year and doesn't wear down. He's already got 75 carriers in 3 games... he had 175 all of last year. I know the kid is young but late in the season if he's average 25 to 30 carriers game, i doubt he's able to carry the load

Depends on how much Eddie George he has in him. Does he get better the more carries he takes late in the season or does he wear down. That probably sums up LSU's season right there.

Doubt they get through all 4. SECW! champ is in (I'm assuming they win the SECCG) with a loss--maybe 2 if there is late season carnage. Right now, they look the best out of aggy, bama and Ole Miss.
