Dayton's offense is maddening. They just pass around the perimeter and hope they can drive.

I thought UD got screwed by having to play in the play-in round. They're lucky though. Only on your home court can you manage only eight minutes of quality basketball and still be within one score with 90 seconds left.

The worst kind of officiating in sports happens in basketball - calling it tight until the refs about kill the game, then completely swallowing the whistles at the end.

Seriously though, is there any facility about the size of Dayton's arena that isn't either used by a Div. I team or in the school's metro area in the areas with heavy college basketball interest? Pretty sure finding such a location would be basically impossible. This was going to happen at some point no matter the location, so I really don't care to hear the "but it was a home game" stuff.

If anything, this is on the NCAA and its new First 4 format. Dayton could have been one of the other 11 seeds and not played at UD Arena.
