So now we're told by the director of officiating (or whatever TF he's called) that the game officials never saw the definitive replay the rest of us saw on TV. He saw it after the officials had made their ruling - but before the ball was put back in play - and decided he didn't want to influence the outcome of the game (presumably by making sure the correct call was made).

That just makes me even more adamant about this rule change: NCAA Rule Changes

As I understand it, the monitors used by the officials for reviews aren't even HD.

Richie Powers never had HD and I do not think that these officials needed HD or even digital to make a couple of the calls that they missed.
