The only thing I disagree with here is JT redshirting, because he can't (he redshirted the 2013 season). We really can't lose and IMO best scenario= CJ starts, Braxton is a gadget/red zone weapon, and JT redshirts somehow.

Don't you dare put not medically cleared and any of our quarterbacks together in hopes for next year!Technically that is incorrect - if he can't be cleared medically during this season (which does not sound like a possibility) he could be granted a hardship/medical redshirt after the season is over.
Braxton would also be eligible for a medical redshirt this year if he can't be cleared to play.
From my perspective, and how I understand Urban Meyer's offense is intended to be run (perhaps my perspective and understanding is flawed), only one of those 3 QBs has proven that they can run every concept in the playbook with high efficiency. That QB also appears to me to be tough as nails and a natural leader that makes those around him better. He has the ability to get the ball to any playmaker in any zone on the field, doesn't seem to have an ego that prevents him from allowing others to shine, but can also make plays when he needs to. Because the entire playbook is open to him, he provides more ways to get that next first down or score, and that makes him more difficult to defend as opposed to be able to have one or two defensive goals like limiting QB run/scramble or downfield passing combined with limiting the RB rush. There are good arguments to be made for each of the three being the starter. Sorry. I will never understand anyone who claims that this situation is "a no-brainer."
And IIRC, the pass that was intercepted came about when Smith ran the wrong route. Even though it counts against Cardale, there's not much you can do when the receiver goes deep instead of coming back on a hook route.Uh, remember JT's second game of his career? He had a pretty [Mark May]ty game turnover wise also. Granted, it was the second game for the OL as a unit, but VT's defense isn't what Wiscy's or Alabama's was. Also, two of the four turnovers in the Oregon game weren't his fault (Smith's fumble and Marshall's pass bobble for interception), and one of the two turnovers in the Alabama game (Zeke's fumble) wasn't his fault.
Uh, no. He's already doing light drills and running if I'm not mistaken. There is absolutely zero, zero, chance that he won't be medically cleared for this season.Technically that is incorrect - if he can't be cleared medically during this season (which does not sound like a possibility) he could be granted a hardship/medical redshirt after the season is over.
Actually, the interception was on Jalin Marshall when it bounced off his arms. Smith's fumble happened inside the Oregon 20 after a long run after catch. And IIRC, the pass that was intercepted came about when Smith ran the wrong route. Gotcha...I'm talking the Alabama game.
We were obviously talking about his current injury...I like a guy who can guarantee zero additional injuries for any span of time.
He played in two games in his freshman year (2010) according to his wiki page. The page also made no mention of any redshirt as he left Michigan after the 2013 season which was his senior year. Had he been injured during his freshman year (the one in which he played in only two games), then a medical redshirt would've been possible since he played in less than 30% of the games. That comparison doesn't come close to applying to Barrett since played in every regular-season game in 2014.Didn't Stanky Gardner get a medical redshirt years after his freshman year, when he played in ~4 games?

If for some reason I were as good a QB as him or 12 Gauge, I'd have more eligibility than either...But if for some reason he weren't medically cleared, he absolutely WOULD be eligible for a medical redshirt.
