Nope.View attachment 10403
Doesn't prove that's he's staying or that he won't change his mind, only that you don't know what you're talking about.
JT got his ACL torn in high school. Why? the only reason he missed any action at all was because his ankle got caught up in a scrum. That was a freak occurence. I think he was plenty durable. Yeah, he got dinged up against the pedtards, but he stayed out there.
I would love to see that(Saying Braxton stays) It would be nice if NCAA Football 16 existed, just to see 90+ QBs on one team.
One more thing.
Does anyone think it was just Zeke hitting his stride that allowed him to rush for over 200yds against Wiscy, Alabama and Oregon?
It was the weapon at QB. Cardale with the ability to bomb away from anywhere on the field.
I think that this is overblown. I also think that a much bigger part of it was going away from uch a heavy diet of read-option plays and giving him the ball both more often and on plays designed just for him where there wasn't as much possibility of a misread sending him and the ball into a bad situation.
Urban's offense gets QBs hurt. Even Tebow got hurt.
We will need a "pair and a spare".
If they are all fully recovered, that is!
I'm starting to wonder just how durable JT is?
I get the feeling we'll see Cardale a lot this year. He may be most able to survive the pounding.

But the whole "timing" of Zeke's explosion is more than a little coincidental.
And against the best competition we faced in any 3 games all year.
Watching JT run this offense all season I kept wondering where the explosion was?
Sure, JT was very efficient at running it and getting the players the ball. But it looked like we were just a grind it out, methodical team with little big play capability.
Then. We explode against Wscy in the BIG Championship game. No one saw that coming. We were underdogs.
Underdogs again against the #1 team in the country. In probably one of the toughest environments. We get a explosive run from Zeke to seal the victory. But, before that a deep TD to Devin Smith.
Coincidental?

My point is that this season has blown up every single expectation of the quarterback position at Ohio State. Making predictions in the wake of that is foolish. We have no idea if certain players might stay or go. We have no idea how rehab will go. There is no QB coach on staff after Monday night and spring practices still to take place.
35 pages in this thread so far, with most participants making specific, bold predictions. A few people might be right - I'm sure everybody thinks they're the ones in that group. A lot of people will likely end up being wrong. We've already been wrong a lot over the last six months.
Thirty-seven pages arguing over who's going to hand the ball to Ezekiel Elliott.
