2014 TSUN Shenanigans and Arguments

How many hundreds and hundreds of Ohio State players have Gold Pants and how many have sold or traded them? Very few actually...

I'm sure more than admit it to fans. Because fans make a bigger deal of the trinkets. Or many have given them to family members as well.

Archie Griffin disagrees...

Archie can disagree all he wants, he had one of the most forgettable NFL careers of any Heisman winner, and is one of the first names mentioned as a Heisman NFL bust. He's a god in Cbus and a joke in Cincinnati and among NFL circles

But to get back on tipoc, fuck scUM, Urban and Co. Will beat that ass and have him running to another payday somewhere else. I don't want another 10yr war, or for scUM to be relevant, I want NCs and playoff berths and Big 10 titles. And beating scUM to get these makes it much sweeter, whether they're relevant or not

Just what if the fuck does his NFL career have to do with how players view the importance of The Game?

Archie actually had a pretty serviceable career. Caught a lot of passes and played for several years. He's light years ahead of many Heisman winners-Troy Smith obviously included.

I doubt Can Hayward, Mike Adams and Lawrence Timmons now hold animosity towards one another.

Why would they? Timmons played at FSU..... I'm quite certain you meant to say Lamarr Woodley, whom the Steelers drafted out of scUM a few years ago. He has since moved on to Oakland, so now if Heyward & Adams have any thoughts about him they're probably more pity than animosity-based.....

Anyway, here's my take on Harbaugh to ttUN......

He's a royal asshole who would much rather be coaching in the NFL. Unfortunately for him, no NFL franchises are dumb enough to throw that amount of money at him, so he will only be taking the ttUN job because of the money, even though his heart is in the NFL...... and his mind is in his checkbook.......

Yeah, this is going to end well for everyone......

I don't think Griffins career was light years ahead, and serviceable is being nice. Smith actually had some decent starts but was on a terrible 49ers team, and had a coaching staff that was clueless. He's having a decent CFL career as well.

@AJHawkfan yes you are correct, I meant Woodley, my bad.

Oh please, now you're just flailing to make whatever point you're trying to make... Archie was in the League for 7 years and accumulated over 4000 yards of offense (including over 1000 total yards in 1979), played in a Super Bowl... Sure, he wasn't a pro HOFer, but there are handfuls of Heisman winners who never made it past their rookie contract.

His feelings about The Game have a heckuva lot less to do with his pro career, and everything to do with playing for Woody Hayes.

Griffin's numbers are light years better than tons of Heisman winners who have virtually no positive stats. I'm not saying he was a world beater, but you are grasping at straws if you need to tear down his numbers versus the average Heisman winner.

Because of course a player with a great(if not historic) college career and a crappy NFL career would put more importance on THe Game than the NFL. So thats what the fucknit has to with his NFL career
That is about the stupidest fucking comment I've heard for a long time. Have you ever heard Cris Carter talk about the importance of The Game? Or Eddie George? Or Robert Smith? Or Joey Galloway? I have, from all four. To a man, they considered just playing in The Game--let alone winning it--the biggest honor in their football lives. And the last time I checked, they all had pretty decent NFL careers. And I bet you anything that Carter, Galloway, and George still have their Gold Pants...

Andnive also heard all of those men say being drafted into the nfl was the biggest accomplishment for them as well. So yeah. And I can also bet their family members have their gold pants for all we know.

Just remember folks - money doesn't always promise you the best....

For example:

1. Cutthroat Island - $115 million dollar budget - made $18.5 million.
2. The Ford Edsel - Ford lost $350 million, or the equivalent of $2,800,000,000 in 2014 dollars on the development of the car that looked like it had a p***y for a grill.
3. Sony Betamax - dating myself as I remember having one of these crappy machines....on top of my VCR as a kid.
4. New Coke - Coke trying to make Coke taste like Pepsi = Coke OWNED.
5. Orbitz Soda - precursor to sizurp, LOLZ
6. Olestra potato chips - if you wanted explosive bowels, this is the potato chip for you.
7. Electric Facial Mask - Makes ya look like Hannibal Lecter.
8. Auto-Tune - this is why we have no talent hacks like Ashey Simpson, T-Pain, and Nicki Minaj.
9. Virtual Boy - when you put your face in this thing, you'd come out and everything would be the same color. If you're old enough to remember this, you know what I mean.
10. Pepsi Free - another horrible soda on this list.
