2014 TSUN Shenanigans and Arguments

Word I'm reading is that he's taking OC Greg Roman with him. Greg Roman is Al Borges-esque, so this is great news.
And, bear in mind, Roman had many more hours to coach professionals than he will at scUM. Frankly, the limited number of hours for practice, etc. is one of the reasons I think Heavy C did so poorly in college. There's a difference in trying to teach a professional the particulars of an offense or defense when you have 40-80 hours a week than when you have 20. I was talking with a buddy of mine who knows football schemes pretty well and he mentioned that there is simply NO WAY Sean Payton's offense could be run the way he'd want it run if he were a college coach. (This was on scUM fantasies that Payton would be a possibility.)

JH is a very good football coach, he will win at Michigan. Is he at the same level as an UM or NS? No, not in college, not yet. He is a better pro coach than NS, just look at what he did in 4 years.

I do not expect him to stick around for 6 years, 5 at the most. He was hired to right the ship, he will do so.

Somewhere there's a 17 year old quarterback willing to take that chance. Pro coach who worked with Andrew Luck, the publicity that comes with the whole Harbaugh story, and the opportunity to start early. The media isn't exactly discussing Kapernick's regression or JH's first few years at Stanford, but that's to be expected.
