Next year starts @utah, oregon state, UNLV, BYU

Unless they find a QB quick, there is no way they are better than 2-2 in that stretch and likely 1-3....and unless they can beat any 2 of Sparty/Ped State/Ohio State or Minnesota, I doubt they'll be bowl eligible...

Truth. Harbaugh is a major step up at coach, but I would temper my expectations if I were you.

Without a QB and unless you think their defense is good enough to win games on its own, I don't think they beat Utah or BYU.

I think Oregon State is a game they should win, since they too will be breaking in a new QB. UNLV is a wild card.

Seems like most fans aren't sharing in your cautious optimism. A few I've spoken to are setting themselves up for a pretty huge letdown if Harbaugh doesn't have them playing for the national title in the second season or sooner. I haven't seen this kind of unbridled enthusiasm (and unrealistic expectations) from the *ichigan fans I know since...... Hoke was hired.

As the 10 time September Heisman winning team, I wouldn't say it comes quick.
