2014 Preseason and Regular Season Polls

I think Miss St winds up 5 or 6 between Ohio St and the #4 spot, which will go to a Big XII team. ASU falls out of the Top 10 and OSU slides up one spot to #7.

I agree with NFB.

1. Bama....who destroyed #1 MSU
2. Oregon...speed
3. FSU...but the panel wants to drop them
4. MSU...who narrowly lost to #1 Bammer on the road #secparadox

OSU might as well be #5 at this point even if they aren't. TCU and Baylor are dead man walking

How it SHOULD be if you look at how teams are performing in games currently:

1. Bama
2. Oregon
3. OSU
4. Miss St
5. TCU
6. FSU

FSU gets a pass every week to play like sloppy, Miley Cirus chicken ass for 57 minutes.

Fair enough, and while I agree, we've had weeks in our history where we won ugly and would have screamed bloody murder if we were dropped after a win (while having no losses). I'm not a fan of where they are or what they are doing and certainly not a fan of thee off the field shit, but it is what it is and they ain't got a L yet.

I agree that the Buckeyes have had seasons where they barely got out of games alive and stayed in the top position. However that was the BCS era with a completely set of judgement and rules.

College football is now played for a committee not computers. You now MUST pass the eye test and win margins are counting as well. The way FSU is playing rightn ow would assure them a solid #1 position in the BCS, just not in playoffs.

Besides, their best wins are degrading every week

If you're trying to convince me, I'd just like to tell you, I'm in agreement with you. That said, I don't think the committee agrees with us. I was just offering perspective of what I believe the committee will base their decision on from the context of where we've been.

I hope you're right.

Barring App State type upsets (love having a lifetime to work that in to every thread possible) here is what teams in front of OSU have left on the schedule:

Bama: Auburn (rivalry game), SEC CG (Most likely Mizzou who sucks balls)
Miss State: @ Ole Miss (rivalry game), SEC CG if Bama falls to Auburn
Oregon: @Oregon State (rivalry game), CCG vs (most likely) USC
FSU: Florida (rivalry game)
TCU: @Texas
Baylor: Kansas State

Anyone who thinks that every team on that list wins every remaining game PM me and we can start taking bets.
