2014 Preseason and Regular Season Polls

Only reason I got it was because my buddy had a pinball machine dedicated to the movie or play or whatever it was. "Holiday Darling".

Per Tony Miller and Aaron Kessler of the Golden Nugget, Ohio State would be an underdog to only two teams if the playoff occured right now.

Alabama -5.5 vs Ohio St
Oregon -3 vs Ohio St
Ohio St -1 vs Florida St
Ohio St -2.5 vs TCU
Ohio St -2.5 vs Baylor
Ohio St -2.5 vs Mississippi St
Ohio St -9 vs Arizona St

Makes great sense for Vegas odds. Those are the two teams I'm confident we would beat.

Just looking at the teams that are ahead of OSU right now...

#1 MSU: Lost to Bama tonight, signature wins against a [Mark May] LSU, [Mark May] Texas A&M , Not that good Auburn, and have ole miss left to play, potentially SEC title game

#2 Oregon: Idle tonight, signature wins against Mich ST, UCLA, and Utah, which are all pretty good teams, loss against Arizona, and have rival Oregon St, and Pac12 title game

#3 Freeshoes: Getting spanked by Miami, signature wins against a [Mark May] ND, [Mark May] Clemson, and [Mark May] Louisville, struggled all year,

#4 TCU: Barely beat a 3-7 Kansas team today, signature wins against [Mark May] Oklahoma, [Mark May] Oklahoma State, [Mark May] WV, Kansas state, loss against Baylor, has no one left on schedule and no conference title game

#5 Alabama: Beat MSU tonight, signature wins against MSU, [Mark May] LSU, and [Mark May] Texas A&M, loss against Ole Miss, have Auburn left, potentially SEC title game

#6 Arizona State: Play Oregon State later tonight, signature wins against USC, Utah, [Mark May] Stanford, [Mark May] ND, boatraced by UCLA, have Arizona left, potentially Pac12 title game

#7 Baylor: Idle tonight, signature wins against TCU, [Mark May] Oklahoma State, lost to West Virgina, have Kansas State left to play, no conference title game

At this point in time, I would have no problem with Oregon, and Alabama ahead of OSU, but every other team is no more deserving. I wouldn't be surprised if OSU moves up a little in the polls this week, and if they win out, I see them in the playoff easily.

To be fair, OSU beat a shitty Navy, lost to a shitty VT team (who beat Duke today - who cares), beat a shitty Kent St., beat a decent Cincy team, beat a shitty Maryland, beat a shitty Rutgers, beat a shitty Penn St., beat a shitty Illinois, beat a very good Mich St., and beat a solid Minny team. I love my Bucks, and do think they can play w/just about anyone right now (defense needs to play much more physical), but our schedule is just unfortunate, and out of our control. I can't reasonably look at anyone's schedule in the top 5 and criticize (not saying you are either).

I have a sinking suspicion that we drop a spot this week. :sniff:
The committee will rocket Georgia up after defeating the best three loss team in the history of college football.
Nah man. There's no chance in hell we drop. Maybe we stagnate at 8, but I don't even see that as a likelihood.

This was a week where everyone was tested and few fell. I don't really see too much shake up.
