It sucks to lose Smith and Spencer, but we have plenty of depth to replace them. Im more excited to see another yearb with Mike Thomas and Dontre Wilson. Losing Heurman will hurt the most, imo.

after watching our offense and the MSU D the other day im not scared of their defense anymore. We should WIN against MSU and whoever is playing us in the conference champ game. no one can stop this offense in this league. i dont think anyone can stop it period maybe just slow it down as long as they keep progressing.

At this point it is necessary to take a breath, step back, and not get too hopped up on our recent performances. I guarantee that the offense will not always be this fluid. Against Rutgers, JT threw a couple of arid, off target passes. Also, I saw a couple of dropped passes that should have been caught.

Those mistakes are not big deal when you have firm control of a game, but it absolutely will matter when you play a team like MSU @ MSU where every single play counts.

I like our chances against MSU, but by no means am I relaxed about that game. In fact, I'm quite nervous. I think it will a close high scoring game. The team making the least mistakes will win.

I'm actually starting to feel rather confident about it. They seem to have been struggling lately and I'm starting to buy in to our Defense. With this Defense last year I don't think it would have even been a game.

Just remember, MSU stat wise has a more potent offense than Ohio State. Agreed, their defense isn't the same as last years though. We need to see if OSU can stop MSU's offense. I think by the time we get to that game, our defense will be up to the challenge.
