Question for nutriach... everytime I watch a SEC game I have to turn the channel because everytime someone gets tackled the whole crowd goes "ewwwwhhhhhh" sound in this weird tone.

I love getting Alabama in the Sugar Bowl. No one will give the Buckeyes a shot to win. You know what we're going to hear for a month. But Urban knows Saban and the Tide are basically Wisconsin with better athletes.

I wouldn't say that. Alabama has almost 1000 more yards passing than rushing. They are way more balanced than Wisconsin and Sims has been on fire since late in the Auburn game. Urban and Saban do know each other. It's going to be a chess match and I'm sure it will be a fun game to watch. There are only 2 coaches in all of college football that I would put in the Tier 1 category. They are both coaching in this game.

Really interesting that they didn't send tOSU to the rose bowl. I would rather face Bama than Oregon in the first round, (taking on FSU wouldve been my first choice).

they want Urban vs Saban again.
only way to guarantee that is to make it the 1st round game.

not sure I know what sound you're talking about.
but I despise every SEC team not named LSU, so I typically drown out sounds of their games with thoughts of fire and brimstone coated with a thick layer of violent hate.

Maybe they can put Baylor & TCU together in a bowl game. Trying to think of a proper name for it.

And it serves everybody right who ever liked the current system. I'm glad the guys are in, giving their performance last night. And I lose no love for TCU. That said, it was bull to put a team in 3rd, have them win, and then say nah, we don't like you as much as we did last week. Never mind they put them above a team that BEAT them head-to-head. That alone made me call BS.

Hopefully, the shrieking mess of a debate this will cause will lead to at least tweaking the system next year.

On, and

WHO THE FUCK CARES!!??!! GO BUCKEYES!!!!!!

They do have the Cotton Bowl 8D

If you'd have asked me before this season, I'd have preferred a larger playoff field. Now, I think 4 is right. tOSU could have easily been left out and, although that would have been a shame, I'd feel the same. I thought it added some excitement to the regular season and will bring some great games on New Year's Day. Besides, I don't think #7 and #8 (Miss St and Sparty) would have any business in the playoff this year. They'll expand eventually, the money will be too good to turn down. I'll enjoy this format while it lasts.

I was referring to the type offense & defense the Tide plays. I thought "better athletes" made it clear I wasn't equating Bama with the Badgers.

Would 4 feel "right" if the Buckeyes were 5th?

I would prefer a larger field. Not as large as other levels of college football because the bowls aren't going away, but 8 teams has been my preference. All this season did was confirm that opinion because all one-loss teams from the major conferences would've been included. Likely line up would've been:

Alabama-Sparty
Oregon-Miss State
FSU-TCU
Ohio State-Baylor

Fucking Art Briles just called out the committee for not having a "southern voice" on the committee after Manning left and having Condoleezza Rice on the committee. Should've just wore his Klan garb at the podium...

That's fucking retarded.

Jeff Long is at Arkansas. Condi Rice grew up in Alabama. Tyrone Willingham is from North Carolina. Dan Rakadovich is from Clemson. Last time I checked, all of those are in the south.

Art Briles is a fuckin idiot.
