Game Thread 2014 B1G Championship Game: tOSU vs. Wisconsin, Dec. 6, 8:17 PM ET, FOX

Let's get down to business, I didn't attend last year. Do they serve beer at this game?

My guess is no.
My Uncle-In-Law went last year and said they do sell beer, but you cannot drink it in your seats. He went to get a beer for his daughter and himself, and they wouldn't let him back to his seats with the beer. So he had to chug both of them to get back into the seating area.

Special Teams and Defense win this one. Bigtime.

We have the clear edge in special teams for sure. This will hopefully play a big part in field position which will only enhance play calling. Hopefully we can take advantage on special teams and maybe Marshall will take one to the house. If we win, special teams will have played a big part. On Defense Darron Lee should spy Gordon everywhere he goes. He is this years Shazier. Bennett basically played with one arm last year. This year he will be much more disruptive on the inside, as will Washington. We need Schutt to step up and help out on the inside. Bosa needs to play his most disciplined game of the year.

I have a very special zen about this game Saturday.

There's just so much to take in and digest, I don't even care to chew through the logistics of it.

If we win, I'll be ecstatic. If we do not win, I greatly look forward to the New Years bowl we'll get a chance to play.

Hopefully I can sit back and enjoy this one.

I'm with you, Sloopy. This team (championship, in UFM's words) has beat the odds every time since 9/6/14. I feel a big win coming, but if I'm wrong......hell, it's just not in the cards.

I leave it in your hands, Buckeyes, Beat Wisconsin! :urban2:

GO BUCKEYES!!!!

:oh:

I'm glad you guys feel confident...all I see if Gordon getting 200+ and multiple TDs on the ground and the offense struggling to move the ball all game, especially through the air, and I can't get that vision out of my mind.

I'm seeing like 45-17 Wisconsin.

If there's any confidence to be had about the run defense, it's that we've faced some very tough backs in Lippett, Cobb and Coleman and have done a good job containing them overall. This defense has a tendency to give up big plays about equal to it's tendency to make them. If Melvin racks up 200+ yards I can almost guarantee it won't be on sustained drives with multiple 5-10yd carries.

Wisconsin is going to score. We know that. Melvin Gordon is probably the best runningback in college football. We know that.

We also know that that's pretty much all they've got.

With Cardale running the ship it makes sense to me that we see a lot more short passes and designed QB runs. This bodes well for an offense that feeds on open space and speed. This also bodes well for a defense that's going to need to have some time to recuperate after chasing a Heisman candidate all over the field for 5-10 minutes at a time.

I said it about MSU when we played them. We'll have to score 40 to win. I think we have to score 40 to win this one too.

It's a much larger hill to climb this time, but it's FAR from impossible.
