Obviously I hope you are right. I guess I just see the loss of JT as a pretty huge deal. The guy was freaking awesome. We caught Lightning in a bottle once replacing Brax with JT, can we really do that again, and in only one week? I know CJ doesn't have to do it alone, but in our system , the QB is even more of a focal point than in other systems. It's just asking a lot.

We also caught lightning last year replacing Braxton with Kenny G. I trust this system fully.

Exactly... I don't get the lack of confidence. I rewatched the Illinois game to sort of get a read on Cardale and when given the opportunity to throw the ball I really liked how he looked. Granted it was against Illinois but he seemed he knew what he wanted to do with the ball and he threw with authority. The biggest thing I took away from that performance though we he showed surprising touch when he needed to as well.

Cardale doesn't need to be JT or Braxton. In the dome with better weather (obviously) we should resemble more of the beginning offense which IMO was a more dangerous one unlike the last 3 weeks where I feel the weather just really hindered out strength which is our speed and playmakers out wide.

Illinois is not Alabama or Oregon, but they're not Georgia State or Idaho, either. Illinois is a team that went 6-6. Far from a great team but not a terrible team. We tend to look at anyone not in the top 25 as terrible. So the positive half Cardale showed against a mediocre Illinois team shows he does have the potential, he just needs to step it up against a good (not great) Wisconsin defense.

Its weird but this is the most confident I've felt in a long time. I think wisconsin will struggle adjusting to the talent of our team where as we have literally already played 3 teams with great backs then 3 others with equally as good defense.

Also look what we did to PSU the top ranked rush defense... over 200 on the ground. Then look at how we worked a MSU rush defense. Both of those defenses have better rushing defenses than Wisconsin statistically and have both played much better offenses/backs as well. So its not a fluke what those schools have done. I don't doubt wisconsin is good but IMO they are not as good as MSU or PSU for that matter. I think scum and wisconsin have similar defenses.

Stop the run and no turnovers because otherwise I think our offense does more than enough.

I have the same feeling. BTN will show the wisky game, from 2012 tonight at 11. And I think the game from 2013 is on Friday night also. I forgot the time. I'LL bet Chris Ash will put a lot of work into his effort, getting his troops ready for Wisconsin. Should be very interesting to see the turnout of this game. "Go Bucks"
