Probably squashed by Hoke's lack of concern for discipline--if he's willing to start a convicted felon at linebacker, why would he give a second thought to a couple of players selling jerseys?

Obviously if there were something to it it would have come up somewhere, anywhere, other than one random message board thread. And yes, he swung and missed big time on Clark, agreed.

Hate to remind you, but random message boards were well out in front of multiple stories like this...
Not saying that they are always or even remotely predictive...
Either way, as I've learned, I'll wait for the chicks to hatch...
If true a train wreck for sure. If not, and if the story goes anywhere beyond random message boards, it's a distraction for a program that needs to be focusing on not that. At worst, if not true and the story grows, it could be a cloud hanging over the program that would cause recruits to be waiting for the other shoe to fall.

Maybe Hoke will grasp at it, fawning on his "ethical responsibilities to the young men trusted o me", trying to hang on to recruits and provide a reason for getting the worst hiding ever in AA. It is coming....

That's what happens when you take offensive production against Indiana at face value.
But he can have his delusions all he wants imo... sure, make Borges the fall guy. Keep Hoke for at least another 2 years.
Maybe they can bring Hart back as a RB coach; I hear he did a great job with Eastern Michigan's offense.

“Mike Hart tried to be a leader, but a lot of guys disliked him and resented him behind his back. Chad (Henne) or Jake (Long) really should have stepped up when they saw what was going on, but never did. Its funny that those guys all came back for their senior seasons to win a National Title, but no one ever did anything to make sure that would happen.
