2013 TSUN shenanigans and arguments

Re: Damon Webb commits to Ohio State

are you *******w kidding me?
That's equivalent to us going into glenville and stealing a player
No. That's equivalent to a kick in the nuts.
Ouch... have to figure a kid his age has grown up seeing nothing but OSU domination. Have to think that factors in
What a sh*t day
This is an absolute nightmare.
So we have already missed on 2 of the top 3 in state kids for 2014 in Webb and Harris....simply cannot happen if we want to win titles ....2 top 100 in state kids will be hard to replace
Meyer owns us.
Agree. Hoke needs to get his act together on 2014. Getting beat to the punch by our two ****** is not good.
OSU Getting a foot into Cass Tech really sucks
burn in hell
Do we take Cass Tech for granted?
We don't have all the history yet on this story, but twitter is all about how Ohio assistant coach (Coombs) was all over Tech and Webb for quite some time and it's being sited as one of the main reasons he felt so comfortable there and committed so soon.....
Turbin Buyer isnt gonna do 5hit down there. This season was an abartition as far as im concerned. Mich WILL be stomping the nuts this season! GO BLUE!!!!! IT HAS TO STOP!!!!
Don't worry, we might steal Reon Dawson from Illinois. That should make up for it.
Not sure why people are surprised....
We are losing kids to teams we cannot beat on the field or the court. John and Brady need to win or this will continue.
this is by far the most upset i have been at losing a kid to osu. got to see him play a few times this year and he is special. You throw in the fact that he goes to cass tech and it just makes me sick. losing to them today in basketball was bad enough but for me this just makes me want to puke
Real big loss, kid is a potential 5*.
Webb, McDowell and Drake Harris are all potential 5*'s for the 2014 class and before anyone screams that the state of Michigan doesn't produce this many 5*'s - B.S. They will this year (if not it'll be really close).
That loss to osu in November was huge
Michigan lost Conley and Webb that day as well as the game Michigan created a legend in urban by letting him win that game. We are in for a long hall because osu wants to win at any cost. Michigan not so much.
it is what it is, play the games, if you win revel in, if you lose accept the pain. or dont play. but these excuses, its embarrassing.
Matta last spring "I'm 16-3 against Michigan. They can call me whatever they want to" :slappy:

Ohio a better sports school?
[/quote]
We all know Michigan is a better school but starting to think Ohio is a better sports school. Am I wrong what are your thoughts? Seams like Michigan sports players knows its a better school but Ohio players expect to win and carry a chip on their shoulders all the time.
It's pretty obvious, and im not basing that off of today's defeat.
They've won 17 of 20 in Bball and like of 9 of 11 in football. I'd say its fair to call it domination currently. Not to mention neither football or basketball can win in Cbus... its tough living and working in OH I'll tell you that!
17-20 and 9-11

Its not a better sports schools its A much better elite type sports school.

Let's face it until we rattle off 3-4 straight in both sports we are their little brother period
Keep the blinders on... make an argument that they dont own us in both sports recently. Not everyone is into moral victories
Why??? Damon Webb agrees with OP he committed. Best player in Michigan. Truth is they have better programs and its not all that close
well, sure, it probably is a better sports school. Truth be told, I'd much rather be recognized nationally and internationally as a "better school" than a "better sports school". It is hard to be both.
The mildcats could use some peers
You're starting to think? Have you been watching for the last 10 years?
Stating facts make me torn up?? 1 basketball road loss?? Try 17 of last 20 with them have been L's. I'm just tired of all the moralist who can't admit they are kicking our as*es in both sports and constantly argue that well they cheated or we have better academics or we have better standards. To me these are the whiny babies and sound like losers to be competely honest.I'm competitive I want to see Ws. Not into moral victories. I have tons of balance in my life but to say this rivalry has balance is speaking with blinders on

Please explain how we aren't inferior in sports???
WOLVERINENWV wrote: They're committed to "win at all costs". They want championships and don't cardboard they get them.

Michigan is more concerned with doing things the right way, being competitive, and maintaining relevance.

You do realize that Michigan was/is on probation for cheating also. We try to rationalize that every time we get beat is because the other school cheats yet the Big10 has 3 schools on probation. OSU has owned us for 10 plus years and it's not because of cheating. We just need to get better.
Or that their last title was won primarily by Charles Woodson, who admitted under oath that he accepted thousands in cash before the 97 season began.
Yes. It's been that way for years. UM fans are just too proud to admit it. It's been absolute domination in the main two men's sports the past 10 years.
Of course it is. By miles and miles. Right now, at least. I'm pretty sure there has never been a period of domination in the history of the rivalry in either sport like what OSU has done to UM in hoops and football over the past decade or so.
I think Hoke is a solid coach, same with JB. Ohio just has elite coaches and they produce elite results. Ohio went to something like 8 BCS bowls in 9 years. They have dominated the b1g in basketball as well. Their dominance has been sickening.
