2013 TSUN shenanigans and arguments

I'm sorry but thinking of that offense possibly without Funchess...and then take away Gallon.

I agree that SCUM is circling the drain. It just in all my years of following recruiting its very rare that a recruit is that locked into a school and then spurns them for a losing streak (even a losing streak as ugly as the one they are on). Maybe I overestimated Donut Boy. Before today I had him a good to excellent recruiter that was mediocre to poor in the other aspects of his of his job. I guess he mediocre to poor in all aspects of his job.[/quote/]

Why do you seem so surprised? It didn't spurn scUM for bowling green or ball state. The losing streak probably had somentondonwith the decision. And also the fact that he verballed to the #1 team in the nation, and defending national champs who have created a dynasty at this point. There shouldn't be much of a surprise at all. And on top of that, this team has sent more players to the NfL in the past few years than any other team. I'd say his practices in Alabama will prepare him for the nfl far more than going up against o linemen at scUM. Not much of a surprise to me. Go to Alabama and win conference titles and NCs and have a great opportunity at making the nfl or go to scUM and go 8-4 or 7-5, lose to your biggest rivals annually, still the make the nfl possibly, but have a miserable college career with multiple coaches. Seems like an easy decision

Claiming Hand chose Bama because they will allow him to major in civil engineering, but scum wouldn't, love this comment:
Bama's degree requirments for Civil Engineering involve demonstrating that you can dig a hole and hammer a nail. I sure he will have plenty of time left over for football.

Didn't he just demonstrate he could do a little of both to Hokes career?

I don't think it's the losing streak per se, but what is behind it. UM appears poorly coached and soft. They are not developing players. They are regressing as a team. The gap between what Hoke is selling and what he is delivering continues to widen.

What hurts UM with Hand is the certainty among inner circles that they would land him. It begs the question "What happened?" and focuses the spotlight on answers that competing coaches can exploit in the recruiting process.

They probably beat Central M*ch*g*n and probably Minnesota (that game still baffles me, Minny is a much better team than that game showed in my IMO)

UCONN, Akron would have been losses and Ntre Ame would have won by 3 TDs without Gallon. Indiana's defense might be bad enough that they could have possibly still won that game even without Gallon and Funchess, but it would have been closer.

Funchess kept them in the Ped State game virtually single-handedly.

They don't beat IU without Gallon. He WAS their offense in that game.
