2013 TSUN shenanigans and arguments

I wonder what all of the kids who went north because they were "disrespected" by Ohio State are thinking right about now. There were rumors a week or two ago about disgruntled players and transfers.

At the very least, a lot of what Hoke has sold to players over the past few years (return to glory, championships, sticking it to OSU) has to be ringing extremely hollow right about now for a lot of players, especially those from Ohio.

Hand shocks me. To me this really puts pressure on them to win at NW and Iowa. A loss at either of these schools and there is a real chance that Donut Boy could lose the team for good.
NW is a no win situation. They're winless in the B1G, so a win over them doesn't earn much collateral. A loss and he's going to be savaged in the press like crazy.

What is there to worry about? Hoke is absolutely the kind of fat sweaty idiot that shines the most when the pressure is the greatest. Right? Right???

Why does Hand shock you? That team is going down the tubes fast. Hand probably looked at Michigan and realized that--maybe--he'd have one season while he's there in which they'd only lose two games; other than that, it would be 8-4 or 7-5 seasons. Considering Hand is by some accounts the #1 recruit in the nation, I would've been shocked had he gone to Michigan.

This ranks with the loss to Nebraska. It undermines the perception of a recruiting nirvana in Ann Arbor. The perfect future where all roads lead to the NC. Given how solid he supposedly was it is an implied pulling back the curtain to expose the wizard. All it would take now is one kid already on board to switch sides and it begins to unravel.

Gotta run - popcorn's done.

I agree that SCUM is circling the drain. It just in all my years of following recruiting its very rare that a recruit is that locked into a school and then spurns them for a losing streak (even a losing streak as ugly as the one they are on). Maybe I overestimated Donut Boy. Before today I had him a good to excellent recruiter that was mediocre to poor in the other aspects of his of his job. I guess he mediocre to poor in all aspects of his job.
