Thread about Urban "crying" about the BCS system. But a poster brings up 2006 (how Urban Meyer lobbied to get into the NC game ahead of Michigan):

The polls should have been hearing Lloyd tell the ap and coaches and peopl that michigans only loss was on the road by 3 points and should have the ball down by 3points and over 2 minutes left to finish that game.

What are they talking about? The late hit on Troy Smith on the third down completion that was penalized? Do they think it shouldn't have? If so, they were down by 4 at that point.
If they're bringing that up, how about the miraculous pass-interference penalty on fourth down that Michigan got?

If there was ever a game to go all out and put up as many points as possible regardless of the score it's The Game. I'm hoping for a Purdue level beat down. Except that it would probably get cHoke fired.

I have a dream that we'll go for 2 after every touchdown... with the same play even; running Hyde right at them.
It'll never happen (and it'd be stupid to risk Hyde's health), but I can still dream.

The bucks would have to score more than the 50 Woody laid on 'em in AA in 61.

Just sayin': The 50 points in 1968 was better, it had the infamous Woody quote: Ohio State won 50–14, outscoring its foe 29–0 in the second half and attempting an unsuccessful two-point conversion attempt on its final touchdown. When asked why he went for two points with an already insurmountable 50–14 lead, Woody Hayes is rumored to have said, "Because I couldn't go for three."

Ah, but in the 61 game Paul Warfield runs straight at a Michigan safety and fakes him out so bad that the guy falls on his ass and Warfield steps right over him. If you can find the BTN Big Ten Film Vault program for 1961 you can see it all over again and laugh your Hoke off.
