2013 TSUN shenanigans and arguments

I think that Gardner and his favorite receiver are going to get some yardage against Ohio State. Depends on the growth of our secondary, who did not look very impressive on two drives o Saturday.

As for the tsun offense, Notre Dame looked very pedestrian on defense. Lots of missed tackles and mistakes on coverage.

Before crowing, tsun fans should wait to see if lowly Purdue hangs with Notre Dame this week. I'd like to see Purdue ans Sparty kick their arses too.

While I don't see Cal being a tough game, I am very curious to see how the secondary does against this freshman QB they got slinging it over there.........But I digress. Continue with your shenanigans

Frank Clark alert!

A female OSU student living on West Maynard Avenue reportedly awoke to two suspects pointing guns at her Wednesday at about 11:30 a.m. The suspects, who gained access through a side window, bound the woman’s hands and put her in the basement, according to the notice.
The Columbus Division of Police responded to the call, and the home invasion armed robbery contributed to University Police’s decision to issue a public safety notice about recurring home invasion armed robberies late Wednesday afternoon.
...
The suspects in the Wednesday incident were described as a Latino male about 25-30 years old, between 6 feet and 6 feet 2 inches tall, and a 6-foot-1-inch black male who was wearing a gray Michigan sweatshirt and a mask, according to the notice.

Horrific officiating benefits scUM again. But, Akron's even more horrific clock management is what ultimately cost them that game. Let down game or not, there is no excuse for a low-level FBS team like Akron taking any m*ch*g*n team down to the wire. A let down game is excusable if they pulled away when they went up 21-10. That excuse is out the window when you let a team full of players that shouldn't even walk-on to your program take the lead back in the 4th quarter, and then nearly drive for a win as time expires. Not to mention your supposed "heisman candidate" qb turning the ball over 4 times two weeks after two bad INTs against another scrub team. That's a very flawed team, and much of it falls on the fat man and his staff for failing to, first prepare for, then recenter themselves against a very bad football team.

This isn't a new thing. Obviously there are the standout Appy State and Toledo abortions, but remember, UMass was in a very similar position against the a couple of years ago. Urban preaches "recruiting kids that would choke you over a game of checkers". DickRod, and now Hoke, want kids that are twitter superstars. I'll take our approach.
