Can somebody please enlighten scUM fans about the meaning of the word "ever"? I'm seeing a lot of Facebook nonsense along the lines of "Saturday's crowd at M*ch*gan Stadium was the largest crowd to EVER witness a college sporting event!1!"
I know 1948 is a long time ago, but the start of official NCAA attendance records was not the start of recorded human history. Even the NCAA record books recognize a pair of ND games in 1927/1928 at Soldier Field which were generally estimated over 120K.
I mean, congrats on painting the seat numbers close enough together to squeeze enough key-janglers into your big hole in the ground, but let's keep it in perspective, Harvard of the West fans.

How do you feel about the back and forth between the bands. I saw osu did a skit for their halftime show this weekend taking a shot at UM.

Seriously, I think it's a good, fun thing. I'm sure it's fun for the bands, too.
As long as I don't have to hear about how TBDBITL cheats, makes up fake injuries for less-productive members so that they can be replaced by hot, new recruits, and all they care about is winning the battle of the bands I'm all for it. Pardon my snarkiness, but I had a weekend where I had to listen to a scUM fan (close family member, one of "those" Columbus-born scUM fans with no tie to the school) tell me how OSU is now just like an SEC school and should join the SEC - because they only care about winning the NC and will employ SEC-like tactics to achieve this - and scUM only cares about being an world-class institution first, and secondly just beating MSU and OSU each year. I'm not insinuating that you feel this way, but that's what I had to hear. To hear Beyonce say "Go Blue," although I understand why she did it, was just twisting the knife, so to speak. I just have no patience for the arrogance directed my way when I don't instigate it by projecting any toward the other person.
