While the Pillsbury Douche Boy has done a pretty good job of selling his bag of shit program, let's see how "his recruits" pan out on the football field.

The fuck were you watching? Ginn out wide was the reason why Gonzo, Holmes, Robo & Hartline had such success underneath and elsewhere because of his ability to stretch a defense and allow single coverage for others.

Teddy also lined up in the backfield, slot, single wing and one very memorable time as a TE.

Simply put - he kicked scUM's ass up and down the field at every position he played. 'Never that great' indeed.

Outpaced Michigan WRs in the last 2, despite plenty of NFL wrs for you too (back when Jason Avant & David Terrell types weren't hailed as program changing pickups, they were status quo).

Jim Tressel's offense held players back quite a bit but I think he used Ginn quite well. And no, Ginn couldn't come close to Harvin's production from that position.

He would have been wicked as a constraint for the defense though opposite Harvin.

Hoke is a fat slob that likes to talk shit that his ass can't or didnt cash (ND ducking the series with them :lol:). This trait has already rubbed off on many of his players. I also get the strong impression that he sells players on Michigan being great because they are Michigan and they just have to sign up and show up to restore that greatness. That can only mean good things for player development, right?

We'll always remember Denard for him impressive contributions. So sad to see him go.

As for the pain that Hoke seems to feel about Notre Dame, it's because he's trying to deflect attention away from the dominance of his team by Ohio State by pretending that he has other rivalries of equal importance.

By the way, I think Hoke makes a good point. Notre Dame wants to play B1G mediocrity so that it can claim schedule strength while playing "away" games very close to home. Delaney needs to lay down the law. The B1G should cut Notre Dame off completely. If they want to play this new game, then let them suffer the economic consequences.

Navarre was all-time slow for a QB. Morris isn't going to be running a 5.4 in the 40 like Navarre. Morris absolutely does have some mobility to him. Wilton Speight, the 2014 QB commit looks even more nimble than Morris despite being 6'6 and 225 pounds. Neither one of those QB's are complete lead foots like Jon Navarre was.

I stand by my Ginn comment. Speed is overrated for WR's. Dwayne Jarrett and Mike Williams absolutely dominated at USC and neither one could run fast. Marquise Walker dominated at Michigan and he was slow as dirt. Jason Avant was a quality All-Conference WR and 4th round pick and he probably ran a 4.8 in the 40. The position will always come down to route running and catching the football.

And people calling out Braylon? Really? Not that much difference between the #3 or #9 pick, and Braylon made 2 Pro Bowls and in his best season he scored 17 receiving TD's. Almost 3 times as many receiving TD's as Ted Ginn has scored in his entire NFL career. A better Michigan guy to bring up for the purposes of this discussion probably would have been David Terrell.
