2013 TSUN Football News

While watching The Game 05 on the BTN, I noticed something unusual: Michigan had an impostor wearing #14 on defense. This was clearly not the same player who took the field in 06-08.

p.s. Regarding my last post, I know David Terrell was before Ginn's time. I was just searching for past WR recruits that compare to the Drake.

He beat osu more times than Henne, Hart, and Long combined.......so yeah, he broke The Streak. To me, that's a big deal
Something Caleb Terbush also did, giving them two straight wins at the formidable Ross Ade venue. A year later they nearly won a 3rd in 4 tries if not for a miraculous comeback by Mr. Guiton.
Ask yourself when will you face an OSU team that is that far down again. Answer: A long, long time.
Much like if Sparty's only win in eons came against RR in 08.

does that mean osu's wins over Rich Rod led teams were less sweet or enjoyable? I didn't think so
Would it be a welcome respite if that were OSU's first win in a long time? Sure, but if the only win came during the 1 year of terrible coaching and Michigan went right back to winning with a legitimate coach the year afterwards, Wolverine fans would have every right to talk again.

p.s. Much better decision then your original post.

I take some solace in the fact much of those same kids went 12-0 the next season. So there was talent on that field. Kind of like beating Florida and Tebow in between their National championships.

When you can count a programs big wins for the last decade plus on one hand I guess I can understand where that kind of rationalization comes from.

Kind of like the French recounting their war glory.

If you squint real hard you can almost see it.

Pryor didn't cause this. He didn't help but heaping that on him isn't right.

I don't want to sound bitter, because I'm not. I've moved on from this whole pile. However, I feel that Pryor's absence from the 2011 team (for whatever reason that could have been) played at least as much of a role in that game as Robinson did in The Game in 2011. As the reason for his absence was very much his doing, I think that, in a way, he did cause it (though I believe that that outcome was not intentional).

I don't want to make that sounds like "heaping that on him". I also understand that my comment could appear to be disrespecting the rest of the 2011 team (mainly Miller), and I absolutely don't want that to be read into my post. My point was that Pryor's absence was heavy, and that it was IMO a leading cause for Michigan breaking Ohio State's streak.
