brodybuck21;2357819; said:and what walk would that be? The typical scum season (since oh say the 1940's) is roughly 8-4, 9-3 type season. never understood the championship talk by them. What exactly have they won that is recent? their co-title in 1997???

During that time, they went 194-48-5 under Schembechler and 28-5-3 under Moeller, which works out to 222-53-8 during over 24 seasons. If you give a half win and half loss for each tie to calculate winning percentage, that works out to a 226-57 record or a .799 winning percentage. That's way better than Woody Hayes' percentage at Ohio State (.761) and fairly close to Jim Tressel's at Ohio State (.810). Even Tressel had two sub-par seasons (7-5 and 8-4) in his first four at Ohio State.
If Hoke were as good as Bo was, we'd be seriously concerned...fortunately, he's no Bo coaching-wise.
