The loss of CB is bad, but injuries happen and they create opportunities. Who is ready to elevate their game? Vonn Bell? Others?

It's not just a CB that needs to be replaced here though. It's a captain and his leadership that we'll be missing.
I didn't think the linebackers looked ok in pass coverage, I thought they looked bad. I can't name any times where D. Grant got beat and I thought Barnett and Bryant played well. Powell got beat a few times but overall he was good.
Who gets the first call at safety now that Bryant is done? Judging by who has been on the field, I'd say Corey "Pittsburgh" Brown. This is where having depth makes a big difference. If other teams in the Big lose a starting safety, they would most likely end up with a 2 star freshman at safety.
I'm intrigued as well.I may be alone in thinking Vonn Bell might be our best bet at safety to replace Bryant. But I really, really do.
I'm not sure I agree with that.I love the potential of Bell, but it's too soon for him. We have better options.
Dontre plays Bell and Mitchell don't..maybe next yearI think playing Vonn Bell would be like playing Ryan Shazier his freshman season. High risk-high reward.
OSU’s defensive front didn’t provide much pressure on Wisconsin sophomore quarterback Joel Stave. He threw it 34 times and was sacked just twice. “That’s unacceptable,” Meyer said.
