And do you think this will be any better next year when the playoff starts? Then we will be subjective to as much if not more talk about schedules and conference weakness as folks lobby the committee who will chose the worthy 4 teams. Heaven forbid we take the pumpkin human element out of this issue and make it about who wins their conference.

We had the chance to really fight for that using home field as the chip to bargain away, Delaney rolled over and gave up both without so much as a whimper.

Perhaps he did whimper, and I just didn't hear it due to the f#$%ing ball gag in his craw.

You are right about following the money, I just don't think people should delude themselves that next year will be any better. The only way it gets better is a playoff with the conference winner of each major conference, and yeah pumpkin ND. This, or go back to the bowls and polls that we had prior to the BCS...

Nope. The NCAA needs to grow a pair and take the FBS system out and make it like the D-1AA and lower systems where it's an actual fucking playoff and not a goddamn beauty pageant.

Always been my philosophy. Either a real playoff with regional game sites or just kick it old school. These compromised half measures have been a farce.

Well, at least the Bucks have themselves set up nicely with strength of schedule for the following years - just in time for the 4 team playoff. They don't have much of a leg to stand on after this year in terms of SOS.

I have always been a traditionalist and have had a soft spot for keeping all of the bowl games. However, prostitution of corporate sponsoring causing historic bowls to change their names, Im all for a full up playoff system now.

Yeah but we got conference games scheduled for the next five years so we have time to figure out how this new NC thing works out. Plus, Wisconsin and Nebraska can ride free in the west.

You think Delaney has a shirt somewhere that says "I'll Ride Bitch"?

Slive and the espn president are like Zed and the other hillbilly, and Delaney is the gimp they keep in a box in the basement only to be let out when it's time to fuck a couple of big ten schools.
