2013 Preseason and regular polls

The biggest crock of shit about Alabama's schedule is even worse than their opponents. The schedule allows them a bye week before both of their big games!! That's no conspiracy that's just plain cheating. I hope LSU buries them.

When I look at their schedule I see 7 bye weeks. At the very least there are 4. That Chat game scheduled so late in the season is a joke. As I've said before half the teams in the BIG will lose on Nov 23rd, hell half the teams in the country will...but Bama won't. Even if they drop a game to LSU they pretty much get 2 weeks to let other teams around the nation stumble before the Iron Bowl. Their 2014 schedule is pretty much bullshit too. If WVU is a top 25 team come next years preseason polls then the fix is most certainly in, I'm sure Florida (Plays nobody including Kentucky) and Ole Miss (Plays Boise to open up...and a tray of cupcakes till Bama) will be. It seems obvious that the SEC takes care of them. The BIG on the other hand could seem to care less about giving the Buckeyes a chance to play their games when a team has a chance to be highly overrated. The BIG already has the 2016 schedule set and I don't know why. They have an entire TV network but seem to schedule so far in advance they will just have to hope some of the games become good match ups.

So how far will we drop after beating a ranked team that had an extra week to get ready, at night, on the road...
Does it really matter? We are not a team worthy of a National Championship shot at this time. Perhaps we will be in two months, but right now our defense isn't ready. Just win and improve and everything will take care of itself, but if we don't improve on D, it's fools gold.

if I had to guess, the top 10 will remain unchanged this week.

UGA will be given a break even though they narrowly beat a less than great Tennessee team.
People will look only at the final score of the LSU/Miss St. game, and not penalize us for playing craptastic defense through2.5 quarters.
