2013-14 Bowl Games Open Thread

The iowa LSU game was close but while watching it was hard for me to ever feel like they were going to win although I hoped for it.

And Wiscy didn't lose simply because their QB got knocked out as the USC QB went something like 22-25...I mean Wiscy had little answer to Shaw. Meanwhile, injuries are part of the game - I don't think we beat Miami simply because McgayHee had his knee blown out.

Meanwhile, the MSU Stanford game wasn't a nail biter, but I cannot see how you think they beat them worse than the score indicated. Heck, Stanford had the ball with a minute left with an opportunity to tie.

But I agree with the other parts.

Stanford scored 3 offensive points after the first quarter.

Yup, and the often struggled to move the ball but had a few decent possessions as well. While watching the final quarter, I felt MSU would win, but it still had the feeling - and the score - of a close game. So I'm merely stating that the score reflected the true state of the game.

Yeah, I've heard a lot of 'Bama fans are blaming last night on Kiffin as he helped consult Saban on his offense or some shit. If thats true, I'm once again thankful for Lane Kiffin in 2013. I hope he lands somewhere that truly deserves his services...maybe the Patriots.
