2012 Coaches poll released today

No mention of the Buckeyes anywhere. I get they can't play in the post season but shouldn't they at least be ranked against the other teams all season?

LSU tops the 2012 preseason Coaches Poll released on Thursday, an unsurprising result given how much talent the Tigers return on both sides of the ball from their near-perfect 2011 run.

from the USA Today site: AFCA policy bars schools under major NCAA or conference sanctions from receiving votes. Schools affected this season are North Carolina, Ohio State and Penn State. Central Florida will remain eligible until the NCAA rules on the school's appeal.
