Here's an article on why he picked Michigan #1. He defense for the pick literally is that he has a feeling about them. His reasoning for how they'll fill the big losses on both lines is I'm sure they've got guys lying around who can play. With logic like that who are we to argue.

from the USA Today site: AFCA policy bars schools under major NCAA or conference sanctions from receiving votes. Schools affected this season are North Carolina, Ohio State and Penn State. Central Florida will remain eligible until the NCAA rules on the school's appeal.

Was just going to say that. UCF is appealing the sanctions this year, which we won't win. So when we do lose appeal it won't effect this year, but next. Maybe thats why UCF is ranked and OSU isn't.

Also to note in the AP poll, Andy Staples tweeted about forgetting to put in OSU because he did his late night. May have even been higher.

He said that he fixed that in his "power" rankings. When you add in those points (14 points for 12th place), the Buckeyes are still behind the stinkin' badgers.
