exactly.....and to say you wouldn't gloat over winning The Game because of the other teams record is just ignorant. I wouldn't care is osu was 0-10 going into The Game.

But, there is a difference in gloating and just being an ass. Unfortunately, I forget which one I am because it's been so long

And now rumors about DJ Williamson leaving the program as well. He had no business of an offer in the first place. RR has done such a great job leaving his stain on this program and it's just so much fun to watch.

Well from 1985-2000. OSU only won 3 games in that period. They don't have to look far.

That's because we had our own version of a coach who couldn't win The Game (2-10-1).

This rivalry hasn't been back and forth since the 70s to the early 80s when both teams were so evenly matched.

Aside from the Cooper Era (see 2-10-1 above), the only real time that Michigan dominated for a sustained period of time (at least a decade) the way we're dominating now (9-1) was prior to 1919 (our first victory in The Series). You throw out the those first 15 games (0-13-2 against you) and it's all tied 44-44-4. Including those initial 15 games is the only way that Michigan fans can talk shit about the overall record.

Not Really:
1900 - 09 M 9 O 1
1910 - 19 M 3 O 1 T1
1920 - 29 M 6 O 4
1930 - 39 M 5 O 5
1940 - 49 M 6 O 2 T2
1950 - 59 M 5 O 5
1960 - 69 M 3 O 7
1970 - 79 M 4 O 5 T1
1980 - 89 M 6 O 4
1990 - 99 M 7 O 2 T1
2000 - 09 M 2 O 8

If you go by total decades it's Michigan 6, Ohio State winning 3, two tied.

If you use 1920 as the starting point it's Michigan 4 - 3, If you use the 50s it's 3 - 3 and a tie.

Question for either Mike or Zwem: I remember reading that UM's APR was under 900 last year because of attrition and other factors, with 4 more players choosing to leave, how will this play out? I really have no feel for these numbers as they are tough to quantify, but what are the chances of UM having scholarship restrictions due to this? Thanks

I couldn't tell you. I know Michigan will probably sign around 20-22 players this recruiting class. Michigan usually stays around the 85 mark. It would really hurt Michigan even it was just a few scholarships

To break it down it should look something like this

QB-1
RB-1
FB-1
WR-1
TE-2
OL-4/5
DL-5/6
LB- 3/4
CB-1/2
S- 1

That's how the recruiting class will probably look this year. I have tried to follow recruiting closely this year. The trenches is where most of the focus should go. Recruiting linebackers is big because the last coach decided to recruit the hybrid linebackers/safeties and that is a disaster in the big ten. They already have 2 nice commits and got a good shot at Bolden. They will take 4 linebackers if Ross says yes and that would be a good haul. The skill positions they can be selective if they choose that route.

As I type this Michigan just got 2 commits today from the TE position. They may take another 1 in this class but this staff will have major roles for the TEs in the offense unlike our last idiot coach.

It always starts out in Ann Arbor with such gusto. The world is full of rainbows and lollipops. Life's a party, where's the balloons?

How will they ever get somebody to be inside the "steaming pile of shit" mascot costume....

Michigan is one of only three Big Ten schools without a mascot roaming its athletic events, but athletic director Dave Brandon has put some thought into changing that. In an article on Michigan Today, an online newsletter for Michigan alumni, Brandon says a mascot can help lure the next generation of Wolverine fans.

National Football Post Scouting - Michigan
which players could warrant the most interest from NFL teams in the 2012 NFL draft.
Michael Shaw said:
Impression: Is narrow framed, runs high, isn’t real shifty and lacks power in lower half. Doesn’t look like an NFL back to me and is going to have a tough time every keeping his medical clean throughout his career.
JR Hemingway said:
Isn’t a dynamic athlete, but possesses good strength and is tough to bring down after the catch. However, isn’t anything more than fringe roster guy at best at this stage and is limited in what he can offer an NFL offense. Isn’t worth a draft pick in my mind
Kevin Koger said:
Impression: Flashed on tape at times and does have some talent. However, is raw in all areas of the game and looks more like a low risk free agent only who could blossom as a senior.
David Molk said:
A perfect fit for the Michigan’s run first spread offense where he consistently plays to his strengths. However, he’s an overachiever who looks like a potential starter in only a zone scheme in my view.
Mike Martin said:
The kind of prospect you don’t want to bet against. Is limited and doesn’t have the kind of frame to get all that bigger, but I can see working his way into a rotation as a 43 nose in the NFL and being the kind of guy coaches love.
Ryan Van Bergen said:
A long framed kid who plays hard, just isn’t dynamic in any area of the game. Best chance would be to add some more weight and play as a 300-pound five technique. But needs to do a better job defeating blocks on contact in order to have a chance of making an NFL roster.
