Their new stadium is incredible, at least given their program (they were renting the Vikings dome until 09)

The only thing I will miss about the Dome is the amount of success OSU enjoyed there.

A few years ago the Minny-OSU game was coming on the air and the opening comments for the telecast were as follows (I'll say it is paraphrased, but I think I have recall the exact quote):

"It is a beautiful day outside but we wouldn't know it here inside the dome. Nothing against Minneapolis, I just don't like the Metrodome."

http://espn.go.com/college-football...n-taken-hospital-self-inflicted-gunshot-wound

Former Notre Dame football defensive coordinator and NFL player Corwin Brown
was taken from his home Friday night with a self-inflicted gunshot wound after a
nearly seven-hour standoff, police said.

Police say they heard gunshots inside the home shortly after they arrived
about 1 p.m. in response to a reported domestic dispute. Brown's wife and
children exited the house sometime later and police say they began trying
to talk him out using cellphones and a bullhorn.

Police said Brown, who was a tri-captain of the Michigan football team in
1992, asked to talk to several friends during the standoff. Shortly before it
ended, someone could be heard saying through the bullhorn:
"Be a Michigan man today. Step up to your obligation."

Moments later a fire truck and ambulance rushed to the front of the house.
The ambulance left moments later.
Sad situation. Seems like they were trying to push any button or try any angle to reach him, without success.

When Weis was laid off Brown went from Notre Dame's DC to the N.E. Patriots' DB coach. He was not retained after last year. I can imagine he was having financial and/or depression issues arising from his employment problem.

Jones was the #29 Inside LB (3*) by Rivals, and the #12 MLB (4*) by Scout for 2011.

Michigan LB Jones transfers to Oklahoma

NORMAN, Okla. -- Freshman linebacker Kellen Jones has transferred from Michigan to Oklahoma.

Sooners coach Bob Stoops announced Tuesday that Jones had transferred and would be eligible to play this year. Jones signed with the Wolverines in February out of St. Pius X High School in Houston but decided to leave the program before the season arrived.

Cont'd ...

Fat, lazy, and not all-in. Didn't really want him anyways. All at the same time.

They are over stocked with saviors as is...good to get some of them out of the way. Too many epic studs is bad for team chemistry. They are better off with one less gawd of the gridiron..he was just going to take away reps from the NEXT great beastmaster.

Besides, if a guy is only good enough for Oklahoma and that is the best transfer option he had..he clearly isn't UM material.

Why are you even talking about him? Only players still in AA should even be discussed.

Oh, that was under the old regime. Sorry.
