2010 TSUN News (in-season)

he came out for one, maybe two plays today.

Rich Rod said he was dinged up. When you amass almost 1000 all purpose yards in two games, it's not surprising you're dinged up.
Precisely my point. He's been dinged up against a couple of pussy defenses like uconn and NoD, what's gonna happen when more physical defenses start hitting him? If DickRod thinks he's going to get by running him 20-30 times a game, he's an even bigger moron than I ever dreamed. If Denard goes down, the season is done, because you have no running back, Devin is too young and tater won't be all that effective (assuming he doesn't transfer to Wofford or some shit) if he doesn't have a running game.

I am very pleased that this season is starting off with such a bang for the Wolverines. Once Big Ten season starts again, people will once again remember how last year played out as well. It's odd how RichRod kind of has his team operating in contradiction to other programs: RR's Wolverines start out good then end the year in the tank.

Sparty's game plan: enlist Mrs. Forcier to cut off his hair.

Denard Robinson is pretty damn good. Just think how good he could be if he had 10 others real football players on offense!

I'm not sure that any Michigan fans will mention it, but they should: 529 yards of offense for only [strike]24[/strike] 28 points? 18.9 yards per point? That's really awful. UCONN? 475 yards, 30 points. 15.8 yards per point. On the season, that's 17.3 yards per point. Last year, these numbers would have put them [strike]at 112th nationally, right between Louisville and Vanderbilt[/strike] above 100th nationally. This is not an efficient offense by any stretch of the imagination (for the sake of comparison, last year OSU had 12.7 ypp and Michigan had 13.3 ypp on the season - and neither offense was particularly great). They won't be able to do this garbage against good defenses.

Did Tater pout back on the bench again, or did he wise up and hold a clipboard while looking interested in the game? :wink2:

Colonel, I totally agree. All that yardage but we seem to have problems finishing off drives still. Should be scoring a lot more IMO.

We've also left some points out there. Our kicker, though a freshman, is just turrible.

Zipper, it was like night and day this week for Tate. Someone obviously told him to sort his act out. He gave Rich Rod a pre game hug, was never more than a foot or two from him during the game with the head set on, and was celebrating with Denard after the game winning TD.

He knows it's only a matter of time before we need him back in there. Denard can't keep this up
