It was a glorified rock fight.....
OSUBucks22;1825900; said:Nice rant Mr. Gilbert...
Maybe MSU's 20 TO's had a little something to do with their loss?
brutus2002;1825949; said:I'm sure Dukes +24 free throws didn't Thats alot of calls going your way any way you slice it.
Dryden;1825628; said:@GaryParrishCBS - Coach K calls TO, furious. Ref asks him what he wants, a full or a 30? K's response: "I want a [censored]ing call!"
buckeyesin07;1825967; said:Why I have no respect for Coach K in a nutshell--gets 99 calls out of 100 and whines about the one he didn't get.
OSUBucks22;1825962; said:Or Sparty could have not been losing and forced to foul at the end... 14 FT attempts for Duke, 0 for MSU in the final 2 minutes...
When MSU drove, they turned it over a lot... They shot a lot of 3's and jumpers late to try and get back too, which cuts down on the chances of getting fouls...
OSUBucks22;1825975; said:I know you guys have a set formula (if Duke wins a big game it = unfair calls from refs), and far be it from me to try and make you change it, but maybe, just maybe, Duke's a damn good basketball team? Maybe?
brutus2002;1826011; said:Its ok that Douche won because they have some serious holes down low. It will cost them in the tourney this year because they are not gonna play at home nor are they gonna get +24 free throw attempts...
I see 10 teams that are good to great and IMO OSU has a serious shot at the title. Our defense is underrated.

OSUBucks22;1826038; said:Not that I expect a reasonable statement out of someone referring to the team as "Douche", but I think you are seeing what you want to see when you look at Duke. The call thing is over-played. They are extremely solid all the way around. They shoot it well, get points off the bench, pressure the ball on D, have guys that can drive to the hoop, and have enough rebounding to keep them in games. Mason Plumlee is coming on strong and he's very athletic. If the other Plumlee can learn to play without fouls, he can add even more in the post... They'll be tough no matter where they play and who they play. If it didn't say "Duke" on their chests, I think you'd agree.
I agree OSU is very good... One major thing I worry about with OSU is PG play on both ends... Craft is going to be a good one, but what will he do against the Lucases, Irvings, and Walkers come tourney time? Also, Thomas can score, but can he defend active athletic players? That will be a question mark too... The streakyness of the shooting could be troublesome as well...
KSU has average guard play...one dimensional team IMO...definately not well rounded like Douche.OSUBucks22;1826040; said:Did you watch the Duke vs. Kansas St. game? Do you think KSU is a good to great team? Just curious, as KSU is regarded as having the deepest front-court in the country and the game was at a far from neutral Kansas City site... Duke held their own pretty well in that one.
