2010-2011 Men's Basketball (Outright Big Ten & BTT Champs)

the couple games I've seen it looked like Sibert, Smith, and Weatherspoon got more minutes. My bad if that's not the usual case.
GP Minutes
Sibert 18 166
Smith 14 73
Weatherspoon 10 54 (ineligible)

As my friend above posted, almost all of these minutes were played in
2010. Smith and Sibert might have gotten a few minutes in the first Indiana game, December 31.

Okay, so we're 26-2, 13-2 now.

We have Indiana at home on Sunday, so the boys have plenty of time to rest up and see if they can improve on that lackluster 89 point effort tonight.

Tressel makes pre-game speech

With two losses in three games, Matta figured his team could use a motivational speech from OSU football Jim Tressel.

"I asked him to come in," Matta said. "We were talking about something this morning. He texted and said he was coming to the game. So I called him and said, 'Hey, if you get here early, could you come in?'"

Matta had been bemused and puzzled by the sky-is-falling talk among some fans and media.

"It was probably great motivation from the standpoint that it probably made our circle even tighter," Matta said. "Coach Tressel spoke to the team and kind of relayed the same message: The only thing that matters is us in the room."

Its great to know that Tressel can take time to come in and be supportive of the basketball team. I wonder what was said when Coach Tressel spoke to them before the game. I don't know if it fired them up or not but it appears that it worked. Lighty to me, played best defensive game i have ever seen him play. His quickness is what i like and Aaron Craft at times plays like that too. I am also in agreement that we at Ohio State have one of the best tandems in coaching for basketball and football. Way to go Bucks
