2010-2011 Men's Basketball (Outright Big Ten & BTT Champs)

A parting gift to Texas from the soon-to-be-ex-Big-XII 'Huskers. They wanted to do that in football, but will settle for keeping the Longhorns out of the #1 spot in hoops.

There was a graphic on the screen late in the game that was titled:

'Texas Conference Dominance'

I wasn't sure if it was talking about their performance in Big XII games this season, or suggesting a new name for the conference. :tongue2:

With today's game (Nebraska-Texas), anytime I see ESPN and it's "SEC Network", "Big 12 Network" and "Big East Network" (which all don't have actual channels), I can't help but think of the Eddie Murphy movie "Coming to America" and the Big Ten Network.

Good job by Nebraska. They are putting themselves in position to make the NCAA tourney, and should make it if they get a couple more wins. The marquee win over Texas will go a long way to helping them make the tournament - very few teams on the bubble have wins of that quality.

So we're 25-2.

Our 2 losses came to teams who are 33-1 at home this season, and have combined to win 41 games, overall, so far.

Bring on Illinois. :osu:
