Obviously it could be worse with the QB situation, especially if injury strikes (even as simple as being nicked up while still playing), but the schedule is pretty easy next season.
What I don't understand are the fans who feel 6-6 or 7-5 will be a good season. I understand fans being patient with RR. Between loyalty, personnel & what happens if he fails, I get that they'll give him time. But I don't understand praising the mediocrity until it gets turned around.
This is Michigan. For as much as we like to rag on them, they've recruited well enough to field a solid defense, and even at their lowest point they still dwarf Iowa, Purdue, MSU & Wisconsin in talent.
I wouldn't say we are happy or praise a 6-6 season. It would be a good season based on the players, a true freshman starting qb, rebuilding most of the defense , and playing a lot of young players. I'm a patient person and if RR doesn't turn this around in 2-3 years then I say show him the door. He needs to start winning "at least" 9-10 games a season, beating OSU, and win a BCS bowl game. Michigan hasn't won a BCS bowl game since Brady was the qb for Michigan. That is unacceptable.
