Assumption #1: He couldn't have been talking about Campbell.
Assumption #2: There is no possible way that Wermers couldn't like/get along with a 4.0 student with an offer from ND. Just not possible.
Assumption #3: There is no possible way that Wermers couldn't like/get along with a 4.0 student with an offer from OSU who "most people" say is a good kid. Again, just not possible.
Conveniently ignore the facts: Disregard Tate Forcier simply because he doesn't fit in with your theory.

So let's see--your theory is based on at least three pretty speculative assumptions and at least one instance in which you blatantly ignore the facts in order to support your conclusion.

Wermers said he didnt like the kids Rich is bringing in and then said he loved his teammates those are the facts.

Still waiting to hear how you justify making all those assumptions and ignoring the Forcier situation in an effort to support your theory regarding Wermers.

By way of full disclosure, I actually think most of what Brian writes at mgoblog is pretty good. But that post and the argument supporting the conclusion it reached were beyond tenuous, ridiculous, the bounds of logical argument, you name it. The fact that UM fans such as yourself have bought into such an argument shows just how pathetic things have gotten up there, and how far you guys have buried your heads in the sand in an effort to think that RR is a good thing for the program.

Well, there's always, you know, Wermers--who came in with 13 other guys who had committed to the previous staff and spent his time at scUM with the upperclassmen from the Carr era (aka his teammates).

4 out of the 7 kids who enrolled early were from florida if you want to group Forcier in there go ahead.

No your right Buckeye07 we are doomed... I might as well start rooting for OSU. Give me a f'ing break Wermers was 3rd string the kid was never going to see the field at Michigan, if he did we would be in a world of trouble. Wermers couldnt cut it on the field or in the classroom it's best that he left if he didnt want to be here.

Wermers

OK, scUMmers, just stop.

None of us knows 100% of why this kid did what he did (decide to transfer). Grades? Maybe. Can't cut it with BARWIS!!!!!11!!1!!eleventy11!!. Could be. Nobody knows but him.

He made some allegations about the staff and other players, which are HIS OPINION (last time I checked, this is still America where you are allowed to express your opinion), and those things that were said did not put the scUM program in good light. So what? Big F'n deal!!! You should say "well, Mr. Wermers, that is your opinion and I don't believe it to be true" and be done with it! The way you all carry on sounds more like you are trying to convince yourselves that what he said isn't true, rather than actually believing it.

Let me ask you, do you have the same values and morals that I do? Most likely not, therefore you and I would have DIFFERING OPINIONS as to what constitutes a situation with which we are comfortable. He stated he didn't like the players that were being brought into the system, and THAT IS HIS OPINION.

The arrogance that you all exude (not just on this board, but a majority of your fan base) that anything negative a former player states HAS TO BE 1000% FALSE. Give it a rest people!!!

I guess what I am trying to say is that obviously he was not a "M*ch*g*n Man" (as you all like to throw out there), so let it go.

(if this is more suited for the other thread, please move it. I am having a hard time seeing the dividing line of scUM football talk and bickering/shenanigans as they are all related in my mind after the last couple of years in AA. As I stated above, this is JUST MY OPINION!!)

obviously things can change, but sounds like another big recruiting loss in Seantrel Henderson. Again, Michigan is not a likely destination for players who aspire to make it to the NFL. Big-time recruits will consitently be told playing in a system-offense will limit their pro-potential. I can guarantee almost every coach Seantrel has talked to put that in his ear....
