I don't think they are getting their conclusion from one "interview". I think it's based more on the fact that White has been pretty open about UM being his top school for a while now. I'm not sure where it says he is definitely heading to UM, just that UM is the likely destination. Well, we will now in 5 days for sure. And, I'm positive there will be some hints along the way. Chances are if Sam Webb has a gut feeling, White will be blue.

I mentioned that earlier that White is higher on MSU than he was in the past. A friend of mine sent me an e-mail stating that MSU was actually leading!! We will see how this pans out but there is definately conflicting reports. My source is right 99.9 % of the time. He was wrong about Ronald Johnson. He knows Michigan H.S. football very well. We will see how it pans out but I would not be suprised if he picks MSU.

From a position/talent standpoint, he's really not needed. He might be more of a slot than a RB, also.

From a perception/hype standpoint vs MSU, I think he's a crucial recruit.

he won't be green as he waited too long and Nick Hill took his slot at RB, Coach D is offering him as a DB/ATH...........

I don't agree with the Hill comment. I'd imagine Dantonio is wanting more than one RB this class.

UMs down 3 RBs after the season. And if you count McGuffie, that's four the past two years.

Who's left after the season:
Cox - 3 years
Shaw -2 years
V. Smith - 3 years
Fitz T. - 3 Years
T. Jones - 3 years
Hopkins - 4 years

They've got to take 3 this class. Drake isn't a RB in this offense.

Well, I guess some of those incoming freshmen will get a redshirt. I can see Vincent Smith getting PT this year. So, maybe 3 isn't completely necessary. I guess I'd rather pick up a DT or ILB instead of a third RB. Personally, I'd rather have Clements than White, but I'd be happy getting White.
