I do find it funny how SoJ is acting like they just out-recruited USC, OSU, UF, etc, for this kid. Comes off as very forced excitement.
on defense, not so far... other than the trio who were slam dunks before RR was hired (Turner, Campbell, Robinson).Tresselbeliever;1473348; said:So basically Dickrod isn't recruiting any differently in Ann Arbor than he did at WVU.

That's got to count for something, if you are you know, Northwestern or someone like that.
Where we differ right off is IMO defense was average last season. yes they could sue offense for lack of support, but that is no excuse for all the big plays they gave up and lack of TOs created. Defense is very thin and lacks elite level talent with possible exception of BGraham. If defense stays healthy they have potenial to be solid IMO. If they lose Graham, Martin, or any of our starting LBer for any time things could very ugly. Defense preformance in spring has average at best and down right ugly at times IMO.
Based on Spring Performance I would rate the units this way.
DEs- starters B+ reserves C-
NTs- Martin was out, give group C- without him
ILber- C- with Mouton out/hopefully better if Mouton is healthy
WLber- SBrowns position/B- Really like SBrown here and kids hawthorne and Jones can play
Spinner- C-/ No one who is good fit for position aty this time.
CBs- DWarren was out/ give Boo Boo and Floyd B/ you really do not want to know after that
Safeties- Moving woolfolk is good move amd Vladie can play. C+

The Michigan Wolverines hosted a visitor this afternoon and before the talented youngster left he added his name to Michigan's growing list of verbal commitments.
coachbt has bias like any human, but he's not one to sugarcoat. He'll rip into UM or praise OSU (say Pryor or Boren for example) if the situation calls for it, even though it's not what most want to hear.blueinfla;1473429; said:Gotchya. Reading what coachBT wrote, I pretty much agree with everything he's said. Seems like a spot on assessment with zero bias. That's pretty tough to come by nowadays.
