New excuse for the slide is that because of the NCAA investigation, the coaches and players are spending too much time being interviewed...not enough time to prepare. :slappy:

Well, that certainly explains 3-9 last year and dropping their last 6 Big Ten games. :shake:

Besides, isn't too much time preparing the nature of the investigation?

Tate Forcier Hall Of Shame

Look at the first article. I'm taking it they're not too fond of the premature Garner love...and oddly enough, in tater's photo section, there is a noticeable lack of pics post-Indiana.

Since The Tot seems to be the primary source of conversation in this thread lately, let me offer a few ruminations:

1. One of the two QB coaches Tate mentions on his "home page" (the other being Marv Marinovich :paranoid:) is Dick van Raaphorst. Is this the same man who played for Ohio State in the early-mid 1960s and was later placekicker for the Cowboys? The one whose son Jeff played QB for Arizona State? I'd never heard that mentioned.

2. How would you feel if your kid were being cast aside for the "next big new thing" after only one season to develop as a collegiate QB? Pretty upset, huh? Oh, what's that you say? You don't have your own website onto which you can post news columns that portray your son in a negative light? And you're not sure what the goal of doing so would be, anyway?

3. Whatever else you want to say about The Tot, he is no doubt a gamer. Whether the Buckeye fanbase takes him seriously or not, you can be sure the team will. He's struggled lately, sure, but he's proven that on occasion he can be very dangerous indeed.

Agreed. That's why my only real fear is a scenario where JT keeps it too close and it gives the little shit a chance to make a play late to beat us.

The chances are slim but if he is given a chance, the little bastard is capable of making a play.

I agree Jax. That is my only concern at this point. If the offense can get into a rhythm early then this game should be out of reach. If the scUM defense plays well (highly doubtful) and keeps the game close then we have a new ball game. I still think the Bucks win big though.
